Kuching trip (20th May - 25th May)

Yes, I went to Kuching finally and I have to thank Clarence Foo, Paul Lee and Clarence's family for showing me around Kuching and taking me in for all the nights, if not I will be sleeping at the street already.

The first day after getting out of the airport, I went to the Kuching Waterfront(Sarawak River) in Clarence's little red Kancil. From the Water front, the newly built ADUN, ASTANA(former palace of the White Rajahs), and Fort Margherita can be seen at the other side of the Sarawak River. Fort Margherita now is a Police Museum and rumor says that the place is hunted. The Main Bazaar road near there located rows of old shop houses dated back to the Brooke's era. All Court house and Indian street also located near the Main Bazaar road.

The next day I went to the museums there and the Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (DBKS).

On 22nd May, I went to JONG's crocodile farm and zoo and sunday market at Satok prefecture located at Kuching North.

On 23rd May, I went to the Sarawak Cultural Village at Damai and the Damai Beach for a walk.

On 24th May, I went to the Wind Cave and Fairy Cave. Go to Pekan Bau where Tasik Biru and Wong Da Sian temple is located. At night, we went to the GreenHill Lounge and restaurant for a drink.

On my last day, we went to the Civic Center for the Planetarium Sultan Iskandar but it was closed when we get there. Their lunch time is from 12pm to 2pm. Although we went there at around 11am plus, but it is still closed. Sad Sad.

There, my trip ended quite disappointing but I also gain some new friends: SJ,Paul Lee and her nephew, I think. And once again I have to thank them for giving me a wonderful trip to Kuching.
